We tried to find Centaurus A again last night.... clear skies, no moon....
But soon discovered the local show ground was holding an above ground nuclear test or something equally as bright!
The light pollution in the SSW was horrific - At one stage I couldn't see Crux without a squint..... Then everything fogged. Gave up.
Try again tonight hopefully.....
