For the last Venus Transit I made a to scale model of a part of the solar system, ran out of room to fit Saturn in the park though.
From memory the Sun was about 7" in radius or diameter, cannot remember. Earth was a few metres out, Jupiter was about 100m, Saturn about 200m, Pluto just shy of a km. The nearest star to us was around Malaysia.
