If you want to hear something bizarre, how about this. Back in the late 70s
I was employed by the U.S. Navy at the Harold E. Holt base in Exmouth,
W.A. The American wives and children, and some of the men, wouldn't use our water for drinking or washing their hair. A tanker came in from Singapore
every few months, and filled their tanks.
