Managed to image this area of Corana Austalis while at last years (2016) Qld Astrofest.

Taken on a unmodified canon 600D
254mm f3.9 Orion Astrograph
Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro Mount
Used a Baeder Comma Corrector on the camera.

38 x 8 minutes, ISO800
