On my old Vista PC I can start CCDSoft V5 and load an image from the "File / Open " menu.

I then click on a file with a .FITS extension in a Windows Explorer directory. This opens the image in the same instance of CCDSoft that is already running.

I am now in the process in migrating to a Windows 10 PC.

In Windows 10, I open CCDSoft V5 and load an image from the "File / Open " menu.
However when I try to open a file from Windows Explorer, I get the message*"You are about to start another instance of CCDSoft".

What is the trick on open the image in the already running instance of CCDSoft?
