Thats it. When you want a well corrected
wide field view is when it cost the big $. If you are content with 45 or 50 degree fov, its hard to beat a high quality plossl or orthoscopic which can be had for a fraction of the price.
Having said that, I think with the Pentax you really get it all. Sharpness, contrast, wide fov and comfortable eye relief all in one package
