usually things redacted concern people who are still alive, or would create a threat to their immediate family, or expose aspects of the methods used by the CIA/FBI which if exposed would be useful to those intending to commit a crime.
And whether they were redacted because they implicate CIA/FBI involvement... we’ll never know.
