Thanks for the tips, mate...
My cameras are 450D and 60D.
Ideally, I would like to use EOS utility (or some AP application that control both the mount and the camera), but remotely..
Now, I know I can use remote desktop application and another lap as ultimate USB hub (among other things...) but remote timer will probably suffice for now.
In the future, when my observatory is finished, everything will be on LAN/WiFi anyway.
