Sorry for laughing, but that was funny.
Next time you have the problem, just a short spray over the fence with the garden hose and the Cat will shut-up! You don't need to soak the yard (the neighbours won't be happy), just a very quick squirt. Cats hate it.
And it makes you feel good too
Wish I could stop my neighbours Horses from farting on a quiet observing night!!! Now, that's annoying.
