bad sol 23 august 2017

well that's a lesson in frustration, never image over a 2 hour change in conditions throughout the morning. this is a 35 panel mosaic of a very bad white light sol with AR2671 and AR2672. the difference between the seeing is evident as to the changes in the light. at the time i had no idea there was light smoke/cloud passing through the view as i was testing and tweaking the focus - i suppose that should have been a clue. by the time i refocused i then did the next image only to find that sometime later i had to refocus again. anyhow when i processed and aligned the panels in PS then ran that through registax 6 then back to PS for cropping i noticed the huge tide mark.....its a dogs breakfast with the results.
