I agree Wavy - tastes like an insurance claim scam to me.
I had all my lenses and camera in a simple Lowepro bag. When moving house, I somehow lost grip of it, and it bounced (in slow motion
) down a tall flight of stairs, thudding onto the tiled floor at the bottom and bouncing into the front door.
Damage - NIL.
I have seen bag chuckers hurl some bags, but you'd have to have nil brains to leave a camera attached in a soft bag. Just reeks of stupidity (which most people that can afford Leica AREN'T) or scam.
