The star tracker is very capable, definitely work on improving your polar alignment, thats always the limiting factor and the more time you spend in getting it correct instead of close will pay off in the shots later on. Also if you're close to an airport you can try using that to your advantage creatively and capture the milky way and lots of plane trails for contrast.
