Collimation laser sloppy fit

The sloppy fit is making repeatable alignment difficult. As the laser is tightened in the eyepiece housing it moves and can position the red dot in a different place each time.
The laser has been collimated so the dot is not moving when rotated in a Vee block.
I have added tube to the laser but the focuser still permits sub optimal results, guess I star test and adjust.
Anybody have a better solution?
