I run a Synscan setup on a Vixen GPD as my imaging mount with the Esprit 80. The kit I got with the mount had a V4 controller - ran it, hated it, so put in my V3 handset I recently got when I purchased a spare Synscan kit.

Well darn it if that handset doesn't have 3.36...which is buggier than a locust plague.

So, I looked in my backups, and I have 3.27 and 3.28 Beta 21. I seem to recall running 3.27 for several years, but was there any advantage to 3.28?

Also, is it safe to back-grade a firmware, or is there some issue?
