Sun Halo
I took this photo yesterday afternoon at Prince Rupert, Canada.
Prince Rupert is a port on the west coast of Canada about 40 km south of Alaska.
A circular rainbow surrounds the Sun which is behind a sculpture of a whale and calf.
The rainbow is caused by ice crystals.in cirrus clouds.
