My wife is also off to Bali soon. She goes to Ubud every year with a couple of girl-friends and they really love it.
I travelled a fair bit when I was young (In Europe, the USA, around Australia, etc) but have become an old stick-in-the-mud over the past few years. I've never been to Bali and am one of the few West Aussies who has never even been to Rottnest (always a local favourite when claiming "overseas" experience...
). But now I rarely stray too far from home.
Most of my exploring is now done via TV documentaries. But it's always good to see holiday pictures from the travels of others
