Selling: wait for payment then post it, unless you know your buyer, then I usually post and they send payment on the same day.
Buying: I only buy from people I trust to describe the item honestly if the price is a three figure or bigger. Cheaper stuff, I take a chance. Only been bitten twice here on Ice.
Wherever possible, and especially with scopes, I travel to collect in person..
I must admit that I am sometimes a bit miffed when people who know me are not prepared to post until my payment clears when the item is a cheap one..... I am hardly going to rip off someone for a few $$....
Selling to Good friends: If they indicate they want the item I will deliver or post and they will pay me when they can, as long as I have some food in the cupboard I am happy to wait a while...
