You're too kind Alex. I'm apparently actually two months older than you are. The only possible explanation is that it must be an old photo.
When I hit 70 I decided I needed some new hobbies, so I chose astronomy and whisky. Not to become a drunk but to learn about the history and manufacture of the many different styles and brands. I'd been a virtual non-drinker for years and some friends were concerned that I might become too enthusiastic about drinking it (I didn't) so I took another picture just to prove that drinking whisky had no effect at all on me.
In the event it only stayed interesting for a few months, during which I spent a handful of cash obsessively collecting different bottles, only to find out that I had cheap tastes and very little ability to discern quality!
Some of the collection is still under the stairs.
Perhaps I should use the photo as my avatar?
