We have had things go from Tuggerah to Manly or Alexandria, and take 6 days. And once, a parcel bound for the gold Coast was looped through there for a month, no word of a lie.
Funny enough, we have always called that DC "The Black Hole of Chullora."
It is a woeful place for regular mail to go through. Express seems to be immune from it though.
