Heck, when Le Mans was on, I only left the house once, to go to a mate's place to watch it with him. That's some serious dedication!
My wife was impressed by your approach - but thought that your list of whodunnits wasn't quite long enough.... She thinks that it's also worth squeezing in Vera, Shetland, Line of Duty, Death in Paradise, Unforgotten, Silent Witness, Doctor Blake, and Endeavour... plus a few more that we have temporarily forgotten. And of course there's her whodunnit DVD collection for when the TV is failing to deliver. (If I suddenly disappear from this forum it probably means that she's finally seen the plot for the perfect way to bump off a husband...

It seems it's definitely the time to lay in some decent stocks of beer or wine, put the pizza delivery number on speed dial, light the fire, and dig in for the Winter.
