Appreciate the comments. I am putting some effort into the framing as I tend to do quite a few hours on each target so it is a lot of wasted time if the framing is not good. I have been using a program called Aladin. It gives you a reasonable view of the area of interest and I can plan the best way to fit the object in in terms of where the centre co-ordinates should be and what orientation. Then it is a matter of shooting some short subs and tweaking to get it right before committing to the imaging run. I also use Sequence Generator Pro Mosaic Wizard to frame (even if I am only doing one frame) but often the image from the database they use is not too good and it is difficult to see exactly what you are framing so I use Aladin to help out.
