My freshly restored 1990 Astro-Physics Star 12ED (120mm) doublet, serial No. 17 of roughly 100 or so made. These were Roland's answer to the Tak fluorite FC-100 doublets and the Vixen FL-102S, just with more aperture.
Having used it contemporaneously alongside a Tak TSA-120 triplet, they compare almost identically, with the only real difference being the Star 12 showed a TINY amount of yellow on the Lunar limb (COULD be prism diagonal doing that, so retesting when I have the new dielectric diagonal). Typical A-P through and through.
