Five TVs!
I'm pretty much just an occasional ABC watcher too, for the same reason as you. I prefer to buy a good series on DVD or from iTunes so that we can watch without all the irritating interruptions.
And the Tour de France can be watched on an iPad app all night now, so I can watch that way and leave Mrs C to hop from channel to channel trying to keep up with it all. And she is good enough to wear headphones so that I don't have to listen to the gory details of the latest plucky Aussie being eliminated from the tennis..
