Astrotrac RA arm will not rewind
My Astrotrac worm ran its full length last night and then would not rewind.
Upon a closer inspection it was found that two little bits of brass that stick out from the worm nut, was catching at the tail end of the clear plastic guard. As soon as I lifted that off, the worm retracted back to a start position. I just find this a crude way of 'informing the motor' the nut has reached its course.
Has anyone else experienced this Astrotrac 'jamming' RA nut?
