I use a Mac have no issues with internet security down loaded Sophos (free) and in 4 years no issues .
used to use a windows machine but with updates all the time it drove me mad there are a lot of astro programs popping up now for the mac but still a lot more windows based .I still have my windows tough book and its a great machine but the security software requires updates nearly every time I use it
the software is Mcafee anti virus .
