I was very pleasantly surprised at the deep sky views they are capable of as well. Likewise, the best view I have ever had of the Orion Nebula has been through this M250. It has also offered up amazing views of globular and open clusters, double stars and other DSOs.
Stars look amazing through this scope. As I often see described 'like diamonds on black velvet'. A fair description.
And then you put in a high power eyepiece on a night of good seeing and turn it on the planets!!  |
