Thanks folks. Yes it is nicely remote but accessible from the Hume.I found the sky much darker than I remember H being. There's light from Shepp in the lower north- western horizon but that's not really an issue. Will do proper SQM readings when i get the chance.
It's damned quiet, almost too silent at night! Hurt my ears at one point.
