This is from the same set of images I captured the other night. The original posting (Image 1.) was a preliminary run through of an original avie in Registax and a very quick PS touch up to deal with grain and colour. Meade 8" sct, seeing 4-5/10, PEP @ FL 7500, f/37.
10fps, 1/25sec exp. Best 400/1200. Avi converted to bmp with virtual dub, PCFE and RGBshift (thanks Adam your a champion) for initial centering, cropping, quality, and rgb split. Registax for r, g, b bmp processing, moderate wavelets 5;25 & 6;40. LR decon, gamma adjustment and recombine in Astra Image. Curves, hue and sat and despeckling (to remove some grain, lost some detail in the process) and jpeg conversion
I hope it looks ok as processing on this laptop is a bit touch and go with the gamma adjustments.
