I just took delivery of a Skywatcher 10" newt on the EQ6 Pro SkyScan (the white one). The mount is HEAVY, but certainly luggable. I am certainly not muscle-bound, so that was important to me.

Am still getting to know the goto functionality, but really easy to get started and I am quite happy with it.

The tripod is rock solid - very sturdy. And that's with the 10" on top. However I had to get extra weights to balance - the mount only came with 2 x 5.1kg.

For protection and moving the mount around, I just purchased a golf travel bad - it is fairly sturdy to protect it while it is in the boot of the car, and has handles and wheels to make general movement easier.
