John they are fabulous shots. I too was out there in the cold after midnight and can vouch for the good seeing. I saw the best visual observation of Saturn through my humble 8 inch f5 Newt using a 2.5X TV Powermate and 6mm eyepiece. I have never seen such detail and colour before as I saw last night. I also took some shots with my Canon 550d but I'll be posting them on the beginners section where they belong. No competition with yours, they are right up there with the best I've seen. You have a lovely set up for planetary work and your processing is spot on. Thanks for sharing.
