Haha...Astronomy from Delhi....actually i regularly hold sidewalk sessions for the public at my local park and we get to see quite a lot. Much to my surprise the atmosphere, when not too polluted which is not very often, is reasonably steady and quite ok for planetary work. I have in fact photographed M42 and more amazingly visually observed Andromeda during an astro club gathering in the city center some time back. The Helix nebula you see here is taken using a telescope located in northwestern NSW Aust. However, when i am conducting astronomy camps in India I usually head to a wonderful locality at 2500m in the Himalayas Chail)https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/1...74983057411714. From there the skies are simply amazing.
