With tonight being the first look at David Tenant as the Doctor I can say he seemed ok, time will surely tell, but I did really like Christopher Eccleston last year, fantastic take on the part! The stories they had last season were brilliant, and with the new 45 minute episode / story format it is very much more fast paced and action packed than the older series were.
Did anyone else go to the "Doctor Who" stage tour about a year ago? It featured Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy (6th & 7th Doctors respectively) in a live format, along with Katy Maning ("Jo Grant" from the Jon Pertwee era). I went along, had a great night. Apparently they had tried to have Tom Baker along too but he couldn't make it - such a shame!
