Out at the observatory tonight and as promised, lights went off at 9:03pm
. Spoke with the Quarry supervisor Scott tonight on my phone, yes on a Sunday!!! To tell him what a difference it makes and he told me he has ordered new timers so the lights can be programed to not turn on at all on the nights not needed....So..a perfect clear sky here, excellent seeing, imaging another tiny gem and the subs are sharp as, just gave some friends a dark sky tour with my 12" dob and they were blown away (the 12" is handling 750X on Saturn with clear glimpses of Enkes division and the polar cap hexagon!) and got tomorrow off...aaah sigh, life is good right now
