Experimenting in reasonable conditions with a 41.88" Diam Juup sitting rather steady, tho not real sharp in the small frame of 264 x 260 Pixels ROI behind the 12" SCT @ prime F/R.

The ASI 178MC running a 60 sec avi with RGB Histo of 45%; (Reluctant to go higher as the Green was 'topping out' ? ) Gain = 297 - 60%; Gamma = 0, which produced 12,646 frames @ 3.9msecs or 210fps (avg)

So capturing methods are getting there, thanx to all those with their recent inputs !
I might add that I was tending to use only 2% - 5% of frames stacking but now finding 20% much better, may even go for 30%, 'don't know if don't Go ;-)

AutoStakk 2 with 20% of frames
Regi 6 for wavelets, etc
PS3 for colour noise, zone levels; plus more tweaking in Reg 6
