Well, I knew I should have gone earlier but a fail of my licence renewal eye test forced my hand..and off I went to get glasses which I picked up on Friday. Tonight on the eve of my 50th birthday I am out at my observatory under dark skIies...and pickle me grandmother the sky is full of tiny shinny sharp spots and there are many more of them!!! As the Milky Way is rising I can see all the fine dark dust lanes...this is like a rebirth!!
even the space between the stars looks darker!
Aaaah procrastination....
