I'm happy to host Tak Attack #3 at Coolah. Considering Mars opposition is not until May 2018, and the fact TA #2 was a small affair, how about we consider running it at the end of this year? That gets us away from April skies which we've done twice, to a different observing season. Just a thought.

Tak Attack III at Coolah, NSW on 17th/18th of November 2017 has a nice ring to it Allan. New moon is on the 18th (Saturday) so nice and dark skies.
Andromedids, Northern and Southern Taurids, Nov. Orionids, LMC, SMC, Orion would all be on the agenda
