Now that I've used it several times, I can wholeheartedly recommend this unit.
I don't know how I ever did without a flip mirror. It used to take ages fiddling around to center a star on the TouCam, now with a 30mm eyepiece to help, it's a breeze.
The Vixen also managed to hold my Konica Minolta DSLR with no issues, other than there wasn't enough inwards travel for my 30mm eyepiece to focus when the SLR is in focus (the SLR was directly connected using the T thread. )
It was just out of focus and was usable for my purpose, but substituting with another eyepiece would have fixed it.
