Opened the observatory this afternoon to check on the Sunspot which is quite prominant through solar viewing glasses.
In the 20cm SCT with Thousand Oaks filter, the spot is quite large and a few tiny spots are also seen around the main one.
Swung the Scope over to Venus which looked like a three quarter moon, then over to the Moon before calling it a day
