Glen apart from the beach - which we never visit - and way too relaxed lifestyle, the SSC has little to offer, especially employment unless you are a coffee barista or a chef. It's becoming retiree central and it shows.
Just being in the ACT for 2 days made me feel reinvigorated to get back into my lab work or microbiological research. Plus the government is giving my wife a job at ANU and there is plenty for the kids to do. I think I will even volunteer at the AWM and Stromlo.
