Man finally gets reasonably cool day. Man gets out the 12" and decides to align the finder/laser/ recently fitted piggyback mak and mounts on tree bole on a far distant mountain. Man is now spending rest of day cleaning bird poo from inside previously pristine tube. (And because its next door to a quince orchard, it really splattered!)
Now I know why I'm not a twitcher......
