I have spent a few months collecting data on this object. I think I have collected enough now with a total integration of 32 hours. This is SII Ha OIII with RGB wash for stars and some nebulosity.

This is probably my favourite nebula in the LMC. I imaged this about 2.5 years ago with my wide field setup. I had always planned on imaging it with a narrow field of view and longer focal length.

It is a truly fascinating nebula. It seems most of the shapes have been formed by stellar winds from the O and B stars within the cores and also from supernovae over millions of years. Considering its distance it is very bright as an object. It must be very bright from a similar distance that we are from the M42.
