My maternal Uncle and my brother did a family tree a few years ago and we on my Mums side go back to at least 16th Century - before that the records were dodgy and the names were unreliable.
My rellies in the UK are related to the Timpson shoes mob- a big shoe repair chain. Sadly not close enough related to share in the spoils of corporate munificence
