One reason I bought the Da Vinci 1.0A is it was ABS only at the time and if making a multi part project superglue or acetone sticks it together Also stronger and more UV resistant than PLA. I also made the cartridge resetter to avoid using their costly filament. Not impressed with the Da Vinci Jr as its to small for my use. I have since added a PLA printer. Came as a kit for $290ish and easy to put together and run.
Very useful and I just found a print on Thingiverse I will make later ...an adaptor so I can use my smartphone as a camera on the scope.
