Sounds like a versatile scope. Also easily attached to a camera for birding photos.

I used a TEC 110 F5.6 and it was great. Loved the colours it produced.

I wonder how well the flattener works on large sensors though. That will be critical.

Also strange choice to use carbon fibre for the tube as its most unsuitable for refractors. I hope that doesn't weaken performance too much or perhaps the less focal shift with temperature may offset any thermal tube currents? Its only short focal length so you might get away with it.
