'scuse me while I beat my head against the floor.

We were looking through the atlas tonight and I spotted this point off S. America that showed 6681 meters, and couldn't for the life of me think of any island there with a mountain that high, especially as it was right on the edge of the Argentine Abyssal Plain. I checked other pages and it still only showed the meterage. Checked Google Earth and World Wind and Encarte Atlas ....nothing. So it had me revved up to find out what it was.

I've just rechecked the map and re-read the legends and codes etc the spot marks the deepest point in the abyssal plain

Wonder if there is a nice rock around here for me to crawl under
