For sale is a complete Celestron Nexstar 6SE Go-To system with a Celestron portable powertank.

This telescope was purchased brand new from Ozscopes and has only been used 3 times in the last two years for backyard viewing. Lack of use is why I am selling.

Also included are four value-added extras: an Orion illuminated right-angle finderscope, a Starlight Instruments Feather Touch Micro Focuser upgrade, a Celestron GPS (for perfect location & time syncing), Bob’s Knobs collimation thumbscrews, and Kendrick dew controller with heating strip.

All up, this package includes:

• Celestron Nexstar 6SE system
• Celestron 12v PowerTank 7Ah Power Supply
• Celestron GPS (integrates directly into Go-To system)
• Orion right-angle illuminated finderscope
• Starlight Instruments Feather Touch Micro Focuser (10:1 focusing)
• Bob’s Knobs hand collimation screws
• Farpoint Dew Shield (from Bintel)
• Kendrick dew controller with heating strip
• Orion Scope Cloak telescope cover (not pictured).

This package does NOT include:

• The original Celestron 1.25” prism diagonal (I gave it to a friend)
• The original Celestron eyepiece (lost or given away)
• The original shipping/packing boxes and foam clamshells (thrown away in last year’s spring clean).

In short, this package consists of a very capable and well-known telescope model with excellent aftermarket upgrades and mods. Almost everything you could ever want is included, minus the diagonal and eyepiece!

I live in Gladstone, central QLD, which is a 5 hour drive north of Brisbane.

Because I no longer have the shipping boxes, I am only prepared to accept local pick-up by the buyer, or regional delivery by myself.

I am prepared to drive and meet anyone within a 300 km radius of Gladstone to make the sale. For example, if you’re in Brisbane or Mackay I could meet you half way.

All together this package is worth over $2500 brand new!

I am willing to part with everything listed above (no splitting please) for $1275 $1200.

I feel this is a fair price, and it takes into account that this is a regional sale only, which I understand is inconvenient for a lot of people.
