Thanks guys, it's my first go at M1 so I wasn't sure what to expect, I thought I would have more red tentacles as I have seen from other OSC users on astrobin etc. But I guess the lack of elevation is stopping me getting more penetration and/or the QHY12 is not the most efficient camera around.
I'm surprised the stars are round after studying the guide graph, DEC RMS is half of the RA RMS, see attached.
Kevin the image is 53 by 5 min subs, I did take 72 subs but rejected 19 due to low star count in DSS.
Other details: 200mm F5 on EQ6, OAG guided with Lodestar, QHY12 camera, stacked in Astroart v5, processed in Startools.
