I agree sport is pretty much shoved down our necks but I don't believe it is too excessive on IIS. I watch very little TV nowadays so I don't get the full brunt of the hype but I am still not looking forwards to the next big sporting event, The Ashes, It will be media meltdown again. 10-15 years ago I would have watched the entire 5 days of a test match, nowadays I don't even know who's in our cricket team. I only sport I show any interest in is the AFL.
