Not the best pic but I put my AZ-EQ6 on a Meade giant field tripod via a homemade extension and added a dampening/tensioning chain between adaptor and the spreader. MuCh more stable than the SW original. Large castor wheels to allow eeeeeeasy moving around and screw extenders at the ends to allow levelling.
