i can safely say i haven't progressed this any farther at this stage... all things astro have seemed to taken a back seat with this year's weather
I have little experience in creating videos (just basic time lapses) and didn't want to buy a program that couldn't do it - but from what you say i should be fairly safe no matter the program
I might get back onto the project when time allows.
I saw a hubble one of how they created the 3d effect (flying through the stars) up to a location. looks possible but super super super time consuming!
